Around the waters of Lake Atitlan in Guatemala, the Moon speaks to the indigenous people.  Here, members of a Women's Self Help Cooperative work with naturally abundant and sustainably grown plants, to make our line of MOON LOOM offerings.

Yarn made from naturally organic cotton are coloured using dyes from plants that grow around the lake. The exact shade of colour is dependant on when during the Moon's cycle, the plants are harvested. Mysteriously, when it is a full moon, the colour ends up being darker where as when it is new moon, it is lighter. The yarn is then woven into fabric.

It is this fabric that we use to make our MOON LOOM products.
